Flow Scarf

My pride and joy! This scarf was designed for Inside Crochet Magazine in May 2022, The Body and Mind issue 135. The carf is designed to give you as a maker a mindful experience. There are only two stitches used - double crochet and chains . It is a simple and rhythmic pattern with repetitions that will give you a good flow in your work, and a beautiful result.

One magic yarn cake

I love using yarn cakes with beautiful shifts of colours. It makes the crocheting so much easier not having to weave in a lot of ends.

For this pattern I used Scheepjes Whirl (60% cotton/40% acrylic, 220g/1,000m/1,093yds) in the shade Tasty Nom Nom 789.

I used hook size 3.5mm.

If you use another yarn, make sure to use a hook that is about 0.5-1.0mm larger than recommended for the yarn, to make sure you get a lovely drape.

The pattern is perfect for new beginners or for those who just want a relaxing make. The pattern has a charts and a written instruction.

The pattern is translated into US terms and in Norwegian.

I hope you’ll enjoy making the scarf as much as I loved making the pattern!
