Candy Dream Square. A granny square with pops of colours that look like candy!

Candy Dream Square is a colourful granny square designed for Granny Square Day 2022. It is perfect for making a baby blanket, a throw or lapghan! Or what about making a colourful scarf or pillow with pompoms?

It doesen’t matter if you like pops of colours or one solid colour, this square will work up beautifully both as a baby blanket or a throw.

For the white square with colour pops, I used Catona (50g/125m) from Scheepjes. You’ll need about 20g of yarn per square. I used hook size 3.0 mm and it measures 15,5 cm x 15, 5 cm.

Feel free to use any kind of fingering or sport weight yarn and a matching hook. The solid square is made with Wild & Soft (50g/240m) from Gepard Garn. It is very soft and has a mix of merino wool and silk. Hook size 3.0 mm.

The pattern is written in US terms and has a written instruction accompanied with pictures. It also has links to tutorials on YouTube showing how to do tapestry crochet and methods on how to join squares.
